Valve testing is getting a lot of attention lately. What are you doing?
Every GC XTREME valve is "Hot Tested" and "Bark Tested". Our Hot Test uses a high pressure nitrogen source and specially designed equipment to test the valves in the way that you use them. Other suppliers cycle test to find out if the valves they sell will handle air ride pressures, but as a manufacturer we have the ability to go further and simulate true air ride conditions.
The bark test is unique: we constantly evaluate our XTREME designs to make sure they are loud -- just the way you want your ride to sound. Of course, we test the Comfort Ride to assure quiet operation.
Valve testing is important because it helps us provide FAST and LOUD valves.
Why are Xtreme Valves faster than other valves?
Our 250 and 450 valves have large orifices that allow more of the compressed air or other gas to flow to the bags. The 800 psi valve allows high pressure and high flow for the fastest flow to the bags.
Why don't you use aluminum valve bodies?
Aluminum corrodes and causes valves to stick. Our newest platinum manifold is aluminum to cut weight, but the operating parts of the valve are all stainless steel.
Some of the newest air ride products on the market use digital controls. Can I use Xtreme valves with a digital controller?
Absolutely. Just make sure that your controller is set up to supply 9 or 11 watts to each valve.
Why would I use the 450 Deuce or Comfort Ride manifolded valves?
Manifolds reduce the fittings/connections, which eliminates places for leakage to happen. Their compact design saves space. They also are quicker and easier to install.
Why can't I buy Xtreme Valves directly from you?
Our distributors can deliver your valves quicker and cheaper. And they are trained to answer your questions about valves, bags, compressors, tanks and much more.
I heard about Xtreme Valves a couple of months ago.
Why should I trust my ride to a brand new company?
While Xtreme Valves is a new brand name, GC Valves was founded decades ago and our valves are used in military transport equipment, diesel air brakes, fuel systems, NOS, and many industrial uses. When we discovered that our valves were being used in air ride systems, we a custom-tailored product line exclusively for air suspension.
What is the difference between the blue and platinum coils?
All Xtreme Valve coils are encapsulated to resist water, dust, etc. The platinum is a more expensive version intended for "show" cars where the valves are part of the presentation. Blue coils are available with tabs or leads, while platinum only offers leads.
